STORY OF HEARTBREAK
>> 6 May 2009
Its taken me a long time to talk about my own heartbreak.
I've never told anyone what REALLY happened.
Well, last night me and a friend ended up discussing past heartbreak,
allowing me to reveal my own story. Have you loved someone?
Have you loved someone who ended up doing you wrong?
I'm sure its a horrible feeling.
But I'm not here to speak from that perspective.
When you're hurt, you stay hurt.
You don't try to see things from the others person perspective.
She had a good relationship. Her first love.
She's lost all hope of finding another like it.
Something happened, there was a fight, a hang-up, and an angry girlfriend.
He brought up things that were in the past, things that weren't his business.
On the surface and to everyone around her she was furious,
but underneath she was hurt
and didn't know how to deal with it. Revenge is a skill.
It should only be used when necessary, if at all.
She didn't see it like that. She was mad, she wanted revenge.
It took her all of 10 minutes to decide what she'd do.
Cheat. She talked to him that day. He apologized.
It was too little too late, her mind was made up.
The doorbell rang, it was "H". He was so sexy.
he talked slick, ran the tightest game.
She took him in her room, she let him take control.
Afterward, before "H" left, He called.
Immediately he knew. She swore up and down that "H" was just a friend,
it was nothing. He let it go, why would she lie?
He didn't know. She was only being punished by her conscience at that point.
she heard his voice say "i love you", she died a little inside.
He shouldn't love her for what she did. She didn't deserve him, so she ended it.
But that wasn't the end, he wanted answers.
Why would she end a seemingly happy relationship, all of the sudden?
How could she lie to the one she loved? She told him. He was broken.
She had been paying for her decision within herself for months.
Now he was going to make her pay for it, forever.
"Since we've been together I told you of the countless others who've done me wrong",
he said, "You always said that they weren't you, you had me fooled for so long.
I believed you were different." "But I am different!",
she argued, "I didn't mean to hurt you! I'm sorry!"
She had always said that those girls were not her, now who was she but a cheater too?
The months following consisted of rushed phone conversations,
exhibiting his disdain for talking to her. It tore her up inside.
She started being promiscuous, in an effort to quickly replace the void his missing
love caused. Will she ever find love again? A year later as she writes this,
she wonders where she'd be if she hadn't thrown her first true love into the abyss...
