Hand Of God

When I am gone
don't cry
as you eyes are like sun that rise.
You are my love
so I let you be free
as I see I don't deserve you.
I am holding on by a strained
as God lend me his hand.
God send me away to a brighter place.
I ask you to cast my past away
for I say the lies
I caused his cries
I have only led us through a maze
so now I have to pay,
then I say
a praise lord lead us to the right path.
I know I haven't been so faithful
or so trusting or so true.
Though there were times
I did some things you know I shouldn’t do.
When you had enough just remember you are tough.
So when you say you love me
and there is no response
remember I am there with you
side by side we are one,
so when you say I love you
I really love you too.
